Welcome to Forge! By accessing or using the Forge mobile application and website (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Forge Fundamentals. We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Forge is currently being made available to a limited number of users through invite codes for testing and feedback purposes. During this early access period, the Service is provided free of charge and certain features may change, break, or be discontinued without notice.
We may introduce additional features, including paid or subscription features, in the future. Your current access does not guarantee continued free access.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Forge. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
If you are between 13 and 17 years old, you must have your parent or legal guardian's permission to use the Service. By using Forge, you confirm that you have obtained such permission.

The Service uses adaptive algorithms to select questions based on your performance and knowledge gaps, helping you strengthen weak areas while continuing to progress in strong areas.
Important: Forge is an educational tool for learning IT fundamentals. It is not a certification program and does not guarantee job placement or professional qualifications.
To use the Service, you must create an account with an invite code. You agree to:
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in any fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.
You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion, your personal information will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Your learning progress, attempts, and statistics will be permanently deleted.
You may upload profile pictures, set preferences, choose a display name, and create learning data through your use of the Service. You retain all ownership rights to content you upload.
By uploading content, you grant Forge a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This includes storing your profile picture, display name, learning preferences, and progress data. If you opt in to appear on public leaderboards, your display name and ranking statistics may be visible to other users.
You agree that any content you upload will NOT:
We may remove any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, at our sole discretion and without notice.
You can delete your uploaded content at any time through the app. Deleted content will be permanently removed from our systems within a reasonable period (typically up to 30 days).
Our questions and explanations are designed to help you learn IT fundamentals. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all content is error-free or up-to-date with the latest industry standards.

If you discover an error in a question or explanation, please report it through the app. We review and update content regularly.
Forge includes leaderboards that rank users by various metrics including Weekly XP, All-Time XP, Streaks, and Domain Accuracy. By default, your username is hidden on leaderboards (you appear as "User #XXXX"). You can choose to display your username publicly through the Privacy Settings.
If you opt in to appear on leaderboards with your username visible, the following information may be displayed publicly:
You can toggle your leaderboard visibility at any time in Settings → Privacy Settings. When you disable visibility, your username will be hidden immediately and you will appear anonymously on all leaderboards.

All content on Forge, including but not limited to questions, explanations, software, graphics, logos, and data compilations, is owned by Forge Fundamentals or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
Our questions reference official vendor documentation and industry standards. These references are provided for educational purposes only and do not constitute endorsement by the original sources.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial, educational purposes.
The Service is currently provided without charge during the early access period. We may, in the future, offer paid tiers, subscriptions, in-app purchases, or premium features. If we do, some or all billing and cancellations may be handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and their terms may apply (including auto-renewal and refund rules).
We will notify you in the app if a feature requires payment and will present the applicable pricing and terms before you are charged.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
We do not warrant that:

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware and applicable federal law of the United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
You and Forge Fundamentals agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Service will be settled by binding arbitration administered by a recognized arbitration provider (such as the American Arbitration Association) under its applicable rules.
YOU AND FORGE LABS AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing support@forgefundamentals.com and stating that you wish to opt out of arbitration.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time without notice, especially during the early access period. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or by operation of law.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Forge Fundamentals regarding the Service and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements.
